Hi! My name is Schuyler. I was lost and wandering near that little café in Nelson county called "Bare Necessities" when my Mom and her sister found me. My Mom and her sister went there to have lunch. My Mom said she thought I belonged there because I was laying out in their front yard in the sun. Truth is.....I felt so bad I could barely move. When my Mom and her sister realized that I was lost, they brought me directly to CEDARCREST. The doctors at CEDARCREST said I had at least 200-300 ticks on me; I had a fever and I also had intestinal parasites. Even though I didn't think it could get worse, they told me I tested positive for Lyme disease, too. Well, as you can see, I am feeling great now! I was very good; I took all my medicine; I got all my vaccinations and I even got spayed! I am so happy with my new family and I have learned lots! I love playing chase, I love to go for walks and I love being with people and I have made a lot of new friends! My Mom says I still have to get my C-6 antibodies checked every year to keep an eye on my Lyme disease...but that's OK! Do you like my coat? I mainly use it for pictures!
